We have received a Ludwig Vistalite, the company's iconic acrylic shell snare drum.

This drum commands attention with its striking Red/clear/Blue tricolor scheme. It offers the distinctive look that defined the 1970s rock scene, combined with the powerful, punchy sound characteristic of acrylic shells.

This is a vintage model from 1975. Beyond its commanding stage presence, it is a highly capable instrument for actual performance. It is a fantastic choice for Ludwig and Vistalite enthusiasts, as well as for collectors.

As this is a vintage item, it shows signs of age, including scratches and wear, and some parts have been replaced. The tension bolts and hoops have been swapped out. Additionally, some of the strainer mounting screws show cracks due to age. While there is no major damage and the cracks are unlikely to spread under normal use and handling, please exercise caution to avoid subjecting the drum to strong impacts or excessive force, given the vintage nature of the parts.

While collectors who prioritize all-original parts may wish to take note of the replacements and cracks, this remains a highly attractive vintage snare that allows you to enjoy the rarity and presence unique to a 1975 Vistalite.
