POD Express Bass is an ultra-portable bass amp and effects processor that lets bassists take their tones anywhere. Simple controls make it easy to use, while models derived from the HX family of processors deliver exceptional sound quality and authentic feel. It provides seven amps, seven cabs and 17 effects spanning distortion, compression, synth, modulation and delay, plus a looper. A multi-color LED ring indicates amp selection and effect levels, and the unit offers stereo outputs, a headphone output with volume control, USB connectivity for recording and the POD Express Edit app, footswitch/expression pedal input, and ON and TAP footswitches with preset mode switching. It runs on three AA batteries (included) or an optional 9-volt power supply, and powers on automatically when a cable is plugged into the input.
