For sale is a rare vintage Gates Level Devil M5546 Rare Vintage Tube Compressor Limiter Expander. Tubes test good, it was serviced as needed by our techs including recapping. The unit is fully functional and sounds excellent. Classic vintage Gates broadcast tube limiter / expander, the Level Devil is known for contributing to Howlin' Wolf's unique vocal sound. This one also has the actual devil graphic still on the meter (it's just faded out from age) which is quite rare to find. There is some cosmetic wear as expected for its age but overall it's in pretty good shape.
