The GilaMondo is one syrupy phase-shift modulator employing a full eight stages of ooey-gooey phase-shifting swirl, with a few clever and stylish tricks under its skin (er... scales).

An extended range LFO, spanning a c-r-a-w-l-i-n-g-l-y s-l-o-w 0.125Hz cycle (approx. 8 second) all the way up to a rubber-band wiggling 12Hz wobble (approx. 83mS), renders a sensational sweep across the audio spectrum, which can be immediately intensified via the Bonus knob.

But you KNOW we wouldn't just call a knob "Bonus" unless it did a little extra! Dig it:

With the Width control set anywhere above minimum, the Bonus knob acts as an enhancer/intensifier: recycling the outputs of the phase-shift stages back into the phase-shift network's input at three discrete, individual and deliberate nodes.

This seemingly minor design detail delivers a vocality and intensity simply impossible in most common phase-shifter designs; even with 12 or more stages!

At minimum Bonus settings, you'll find a lush and heavenly swirl, while at maximum settings the Bonus knob spawns a throaty and vocal tone, but we haven't talked about setting the Width control at minimum...

Setting the Width control at minimum allows you to fully disable the LFO and "park" the phase-shift network's central point, thus affording the opportunity to tune the phase-shifter, almost like a cocked wah, but SO much stronger and pronounced!
This is: The Cobra Tone.
And it sounds phenomenal after distortion or fuzz.

High input headroom means you can safely and happily use this phase-shifter with your electric guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, and synth. Try it in your effects loop (if available) for an even more intense effect!
