The Electro-Harmonix HOG, or Harmonic Octave Generator, is a guitar synthesizer that gives you crazy octave-spanning goodness without needing pesky specific pickups. Just plug in and get artifact-free polyphonic tracking using ten different harmonic intervals, spanning from two suboctaves below your original pitch to up to four octaves above. You can even turn the HOG into a whammy pedal using its Pitch Bend mode, or plug in the footswitch to change between presets quickly.
