Soprano ukuleles from "Frayns," the brand of luthier Yosuke Isoda, who makes his instruments in Yamanashi Prefecture, have arrived!

After 17 years of training at Eiichi Sumi's SUMI workshop, he became independent in 2019 and launched his own brand.
This brand enjoys a high level of trust, with professional musicians such as Kenta Ebara using their products.
While working at SUMI Studio, his high precision in inlay work was highly praised, and this instrument, the 'FRUK 5KSD', can be said to be the culmination of that skill.

Based on the Style-5K, considered the pinnacle of Martin ukuleles, this luxurious model is adorned with beautiful abalone shell inlays from the headstock to the body. The Hawaiian koa wood used is also of the highest quality, featuring a beautiful quilted pattern reminiscent of wave patterns. The neck is made of Honduran mahogany and the fingerboard is made of ebony, demonstrating no compromise in material selection.

It boasts the lustrous tone characteristic of Hawaiian koa wood, rich volume, full bass, and clear articulation. The simple, warm, and gentle sound is unique to a soprano ukulele.
While maintaining a traditional appearance, its playability and operability have been thoroughly updated to be more modern and user-friendly.

In terms of condition, it shows very little signs of use and can be played with a feeling very close to that of a brand new instrument!
This soprano ukulele is great for both energetic strumming and mellow solo playing.
