The Raster 2 is a stereo digital delay with a pitch and frequency shifter integrated into the feedback loop — which sounds technical until you start playing it, at which point it becomes immediately obvious why this pedal has such a devoted following. The core is a clean delay with up to 1600ms of delay time across three ranges, but the real character comes from the pitch shifting woven into the repeats. Harmonised delays, infinite descents, self-oscillation on the edge of chaos, continuously evolving soundscapes — it covers a lot of ground, and the knob responses are tuned specifically for exploring feedback and self-oscillation without things just falling apart.
