Now available on consignment, a 1966 Fender Mustang with a body refinish.This is a great example of a player grade 60s Mustang, sporting a few changes including a body refinish in Dakota Red, changed switches, knobs, modern CTS pots installed, and a replacement early ‘70s pickup in the bridge position. The guitar has also been professionally refretted with a new nut in the last 10 years.Otherwise the original Fender 'F' tuners, bridge, original grey bottom neck pickup hand dated to '66, vibrato and pickguard all remain. The guitar has a nice even C shaped neck with a comfortable 24” scale length. The refinish was done carefully and accurately with some light finish checking.This Mustang is a cutie, the neck is comfy and slick, lightweight and easy to handle. The neck pickup has a touch more depth and richness than the bridge, which is a little brighter however matches well.
