Here we have a powerful 50-watt valve combo from Peavey’s much-loved Classic Series, pairing a four-EL84 power section with two 12-inch speakers for a broad, full-bodied sound and plenty of stage-ready volume. It offers clear, spacious cleans, warm natural overdrive and the practical flexibility of two channels, spring reverb and an effects loop. This example also comes with its original footswitch.

Condition:

This amplifier is in very good condition. It shows light cosmetic wear consistent with normal careful use, but presents well overall and has clearly been looked after (see photos). Most importantly, it is in very good working condition and ready to go straight into regular use.

The Normal channel provides plenty of clarity and headroom, making it a strong platform for pedals as well as clean guitar sounds. The Lead channel introduces progressively richer overdrive through its separate pre and post-gain controls, allowing it to move from lightly driven blues tones through to fuller classic-rock gain.

Its four-EL84 power section gives the amp a lively response, pronounced midrange and natural compression when pushed. The 2x12 speaker format adds width and authority, helping it fill a room comfortably while retaining enough definition for chords and lead work.

The built-in spring reverb adds natural depth without requiring an external pedal, while the effects loop allows delays, modulation and other time-based effects to be placed after the preamp. The included original footswitch also makes channel changes and live operation considerably more convenient.
