Has some age and playing related wear but nothing that affects the playability.
Superb George La Foley Mandolin w/ Mother of Pearl Scratch plate c.1920
Here we have a wonderful mandolin made by George La Foley in the early 20th century. It is in descent shape for its age, you can see from the photos that it has some age and playing related wear. However, this does not have an affect on the playability at all.
The neck does not look warped, there is no leaking light, and there is no damage or major signs of wear. The pitch sounds perfect and it a very comfortable and beautiful toned sounding Mandolin. It feels incredibly well-made, as you would expect, and would no doubt make an excellent addition to any collection, or indeed an excellent instrument to play.
