Marshall Valvestate VS102R/VS100H hybrid lead guitar amp HEAD 100W with reverb, revAMPlified

Marshall Valvestate VS102R converted to VS100H head (by me) for a local studio, now back in my hands.

The Marshall 2x12 combos are back breaking so, on request, I converted this to a head and fitted the speakers into a 2x12 cabinet (see my other listings). It was used in a local studio for less than a year, featuring on quite a few recordings as it's a very versatile amp.

Too many features to go into detail but it a powerful 3 channel amp (it has 2 overdrive modes) with a valve pre-amp and good sized conventional spring reverb. It would be happy sitting on top of a 2x12, 4x12 cab or full stack. It has 2 speaker output jacks on the back and can drive a combination of speakers down to 4 ohms.

I have stripped it right down, tested all the electronics (including the 12AX7 valve), serviced, made a few small mods to improve the lifespan of the capacitors etc, replaced some caps, cleaned and PAT tested it so it's ready for another studio or to gig.
