The Yamaha MT50 is an analog 4-track cassette multitrack recorder, capturing four mono tracks onto a single side of a standard cassette. It runs at double speed (9.5 cm/sec) and requires Type II tape, delivering improved audio fidelity across all four tracks. Each of the four channels features a combo TRS 1/4" jack accepting both mic and line sources, a 2-band EQ (high and low), and an aux send with stereo return for effects.
