The 'New Nylgut' was the first material product developed and patented by Aquila. It is is far superior to common nylon or carbon based material - it produces a better sound and stays in tune for longer.

Nylgut has a higher density than that of nylon and produces a sound far closer to that of natural gut strings than its nylon or carbon based rivals. It is probably the first genuine 'synthetic gut' string in the world.
