The Kenwood KAC-9104D is a discontinued Class D monaural power amplifier built for serious car audio installations. It delivers 500W RMS into 4Ω and 900W RMS into 2Ω or 1Ω, with a peak rating of 1800W, and is stable at 1Ω loads — making it well suited to demanding subwoofer applications. Inputs include a gold-plated RCA line input with speaker-level input also supported, while onboard processing covers a 50–200Hz low-pass filter (24dB/oct), a 15/25Hz infrasonic filter, and a 40Hz bass boost of up to +18dB. Thermal management is handled by a built-in cooling fan and a die-cast aluminium heat sink. Additional features include a phase inverter (0°/180°), signal-sensing turn-on, dual mono drive capability, and blue illumination.
