The JBL 4412A is a passive 3-way studio monitor loudspeaker built around a 12" low-frequency driver, a 5" midrange driver, and a 1" titanium high-frequency driver. With a frequency response of 45Hz to 15kHz, 8Ω impedance, and 90dB sensitivity, it was designed for flat, neutral, and accurate critical listening in professional studio environments. The 4412A requires an external amplifier and features L-pad attenuators for fine-tuning the mid and high frequency balance. It is distinguished from the original 4412 by its vinyl veneer finish and magnetically shielded LF driver, and it omits the level controls found on the earlier model.
