The Bluesound Node 2i is a network audio streamer designed to sit between your home network and your hi-fi amplifier or active speakers, delivering high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/192kHz via a built-in 32-bit Burr-Brown DAC. It connects via Gigabit Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD, and Apple AirPlay 2, making it highly flexible for both wired and wireless setups. Outputs include stereo analogue RCA, coaxial digital, TosLink optical, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a dedicated subwoofer RCA. Inputs cover optical, analogue 3.5mm, and USB-A for thumb drives. The Node 2i supports MQA decoding for Tidal Masters, Qobuz streaming, and integrates natively into the BluOS multi-room ecosystem, allowing synchronised playback across multiple compatible zones.
