30 Reels of lightly used 2” analogue multitrack tapes that has been stored in the Sony/BMG humidity controlled vaults.
Details:
• 30 reels of 2” Ampex 456 multitrack tape (small number of Quantegy)
• Packed 3 reels per box, 10 boxes in total
• Average box weight: approx. 15kg (total approx. 150kg)
• Box dimensions: 40cm (L) x 35cm (W)
• Tape dates from around 2000 (when manufacture quality was still high)
• Hardly used (Only used for backing tracks over a 10 day session which were immediately transferred to Pro Tools)
• Stored throughout in a humidity-controlled professional vault (Sony /BMG)
Given the storage history, I’d expect the tape to be in very good condition but may need baking before re using.
