TASCAM 112 PROFESSIONAL CASSETTE DECK
I had 5 of these decks and this is the 4th one up for sale. They were part of a duplication set up that I had. All machines were extensively serviced around 9 months ago with various work done to each machine. They have been maintained to the highest standard and are cleaned and demagnetised regularly. The pictures are the exact unit up for sale. Due to the age there are marks and scratches as shown in the pictures.

  The 112 incorporates the Dolby HX Pro system for enhanced high-frequency reproduction due to increased high-frequency MOL The high-frequency content of normal music signals can sometimes overlap with the cassette deck's premagnetization signal, thereby driving the tape into saturation and significantly reducing the high-frequency MOL.
• Dolby HX Pro is an active premagnetization system that helps avoid this problem and adds an additional 6dB of high-frequency overload protection. This is achieved by monitoring the total premagnetisation level coming onto the tape, automatically reducing this level if it exceeds the optimum data. This means the best possible high-frequency response with any type of tape, even if the source signal has a very strong high-frequency content.
