Beautiful Ace tone FR-6. Perfect working order.
These are the pre-curser to the Roland TR series. Most of these are wood grain but this is the rare black Tolex version. From the 1970's I think. Often branded as 'Bentley Rhythm Ace' although this one is not, it is the same thing.
Warm and really groovy, the balance pot is so useful, it changes what you hear of the pattern between the kick/snare and the hats. Needless to say it sounds great through pedals.
It has a few scratches and blemishes but in perfect working order otherwise.
Only ever used in studio and stored well. Its a beauty!
When I bought it many years ago it came with the knob replacement on the tempo button. I believe it's from a guitar amp. Looks pretty swish and does the job perfectly.
