Suzuki M-20 Mandolin with original case – Made in Japan – vintage condition For sale is a classic Suzuki M-20 bowl-back mandolin from Japan, including the original hard shell case with velvet lining.

The instrument was manufactured by the renowned Suzuki Violin Co. Ltd. in Nagoya – probably in the 1970s or 1980s. The mandolin is in vintage good condition, with a beautiful patina and only minor wear consistent with age. A charming instrument for collectors or active musicians seeking a clear, traditional mandolin sound.

The M-20 model has a classic Neapolitan body shape with a rounded top made of many fine wood shavings. The top is made of spruce, and the back and sides are presumably made of mahogany or maple. The fingerboard is made of dark hardwood, and the pickguard is inlaid decoratively. The original tuning machines are functional and display a pleasant vintage patina. Dimensions of the mandolin (approx.) : total length 62 cm, body length 32 cm, maximum width 25 cm, bowlback depth 15 cm, scale length approx. 33 cm. The original hard-shell case is well preserved.
