Select maple is chosen carefully for the shells, and the unique Mapa Burl finished is crafted with 8 hand-finished coats of lacquer. The kit is designed with Mapex's ITS technology for less contact between drums and their hardware at the mounting point. This results in more sustain and allows the shells to resonate to their maximum potential.
