Don’t know much about this Pancake snare other than it’s very old!
Excellent for funk, hip-hop, and gospel.
Their tight, punchy sound cuts through a mix and works well for ghost notes and intricate sticking patterns.
One lug has been replaced with a hex bolt.
Can still be tuned up but would benefit from some new heads.
Very rare and interesting! Price reflects the above
Other than this it’s in great used condition for its age.
A fantastic add to the snare collection.
