Kala KA-GL Mahogany Guitarlele

The Kala KA-GL Mahogany Guitarlele is a six-string instrument that combines the portable size of a ukulele with the playability of a guitar.

Classic Design & Traditional Tonewoods

This model features a traditional mahogany top, back, and sides, which give the instrument a reserved, simple appearance and a warm acoustic tone. 

The body is finished in a smooth satin coating and accented with a cream binding along the edges. 

The mahogany neck is paired with a Pau Ferro fingerboard and a slotted headstock, giving it a classic look similar to a traditional nylon-string guitar.

Portable Dimensions & Tuning

With an overall length of twenty-eight inches and a seventeen-inch scale length, this instrument is highly compact and built for travel. 

It is tuned from low to high in A-D-G-C-E-A, which matches the intervals of a standard guitar tuned up a perfect fourth. 

The instrument is built with a genuine bone nut and saddle for reliable string vibration transfer, and it comes fitted with high-quality Aquila Super Nylgut strings.
