Bought this second hand. Previous owner preferred the mic to be all black so upgraded the grille to shure's replacement RK323G grille. The body is also darker than the other Beta 58A I own suggesting he also painted it a darker shade.
I've compared the frequency response to my other Beta 58a and they sound identical. I've opened the mic to check that it is a genuine Shure mic. Please see pics above. Comes with pouch but no mic clip.
