Developed based on design suggestions from musician Peter Grant, this model features added mass for enhanced tone and a distinct shape tailored to modern playing techniques.

Heavyweight Profile & Double Cutaway Control

Weighing 5.8 ounces, this tone bar provides extra mass that helps produce a fuller, more resonant acoustic tone. 

It is built with a double cutaway design on the ends, offering a secure grip and giving the player greater control during fast position changes. 

The slide features a 2.875-inch flat playing surface, an overall length of 3.125 inches, and a semi-bullet tip that allows for smooth, precise movement across the strings.

Durable Solid Stainless Steel Construction

Unlike standard chrome-plated bars that can wear down, chip, or flake over time, the SP2 is crafted entirely from solid stainless steel. 

Because there is no exterior plating to rub away, the bar resists nicks and scratches through heavy use. 

If the surface does receive a minor mark, it can be buffed out to restore the original smooth finish, allowing the slide to retain its performance quality and outlast traditional plated alternatives.
