Ajax, Stratford & Besson drum kit Boosey & Hawkes 1960 - Black diamond pearl

The Stratford and Besson by Boosey and Hawkes drum Kit is a vintage acoustic drum kit made from 3 ply birch with Beech reinforcement rings. Same shell as ajax drums. It’s designed to be lightweight, making it easy to transport and play. This particular kit was made in the period from 1959-1962. Top heads are evans bottom heads on toms are remo ambassador. Bass drum had Evans head on reso side and remo coated pinstripe on batter. All heads are like new, only played once. This drum kit is perfect for drummers looking for a classic sound with a modern twist, thanks to the birch shell material that provides a bright and responsive tone. Sizes: 20x12 bass drum, 12x8 tom, 16x16 floor tom. Floor tom had been re-wrapped in the period correct wrap. Snare is not included in the sale. Very good condition. Cymbals and cymbal stands are not for sale - they are for display purposes only. Collection only! I can consider to deliver the drum kit : within 80 miles radius of London - if petrol expenses are paid. Drum kit is based in London.
