The SE4123 is the classic Hiwatt cabinet that started it all. It is a big part of the classic Hiwatt sound that can be heard on countless records from late 60s and early 70s right up to today. With 4x12 inch speakers you get up to 300 watts of power handling (double that when upgraded to Purpleback speakers) which translates to loads of headroom and a big, rich, and deep sound.

Legendary tone, Hiwatt headroom and 150 watts of handling power - this speaker is one of the all time classic Hiwatt/Fane pairings and has been used by generations of the worlds best artists on many of the worlds beloved recordings. Instantly recognizable - the full range response is a studio engineer's dream, capturing a huge range of frequencies for post production use.

The Purpleback provides fantastic versatility with Hiwatt headroom and the ability to also handle loads of distortion. Truly amazing how many albums and songs this speaker has contributed to. Still made by hand in England exclusively for Hiwatt using the original cast basket design, cones, components and spec’s by Fane Acoustics.

Used in the entire Hiwatt Custom shop range this speaker is iconically Hiwatt.

Highly recommended for Studio use… and when you just need to crank your amp to 10 and feel the heart stopping power of a DR103 (sitting on the edge of breakup) hit you full on in the chest - Awesome.
