Vintage Boss CE-2 Chorus 1980 

A great chance to own a piece of pedal history. This 46 year old pedal is in full working order and sounds glorious. A real testament to Boss build quality. 

Both Panasonic MN3007 and MN3101 chips are present along with the JRC4558D op amp. The outcome is possibly the most warm, thick and beautiful chorus known to man. From subtle tone thickening through metallic spaciness to deep and lush wobble, there are no bad sounds with this pedal. 

Sold as players grade due to a few things - the cosmetic condition, missing original box and missing 9v battery terminal. I speculate whether it may have been modded to run on 9v power supply which is extremely useful but non original. The back plate screws seem to also have been changed to flat head screws which are to long and don't fully close up leaving the plate ever so slightly loose. None of this affects playability in any way.
