UAD-2 Satellite Firewire QUAD — DSP Powerhouse for UAD Users.
If you're running UAD plugins on an older Intel Mac and finding yourself running out of DSP headroom, this is a huge help. It spreads the cpu workload over an addition 4 processors.
It works alongside any existing UAD hardware, pooling its DSP with whatever you already have connected.
Condition: Perfect working condition when last used not long ago, though can't test anymore as have moved onto later generation of Mac. Cosmetically in great nick, a couple of minor marks on the top.
Please note: This is Firewire connectivity — compatible with Intel Macs with native Firewire ports or via Apple's Thunderbolt to Firewire adapter on Thunderbolt 1/2 Intel Macs. Not compatible with Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) Macs.
No plugin bundles included — hardware only. Your existing UAD plugin licenses will work with it straight away.
Power cable and Firewire cable included.
