Very cool little combo that I've restored and upgraded - these were made around 2002 and one of the first Ashdown combos made. Built in the UK, the ABM range was their pro-level line at the time; it has a valve in the preamp for the valve drive and a bunch of features and connections including their famous sub-octave generator and an FX loop.

This pale blue control panel was the original colour before they went darker blue after this model, which I think looks sweet.

These are rated for 300w but came with a single 10" 150w 8 ohm driver so I replaced the original with a new 4 ohm 300w Faital Pro 10PR300 speaker (See last pic) to draw the full amp power without an extension cab, so it's a great little package to take to rehearsals or moderate sized gigs. I've tested it up to 3/4 of full volume and it was easily loud enough to keep up with drums.

It's a very nice, neutral sounding speaker, nice flat midrange, very punchy lows and full fundamentals down to E, although I drop tune and I found the lows dropping off in level below that. You'd expect that from a 1x10" though... no tweeter, so not super sparkly highs.

I've refurb'd it with new chrome corners, a nice strong, quality handle on top and I also fitted lockable casters, which are great and work perfectly. So yeah its a great grab and go all-in-one solution, fairly weighty as it's an old-school class AB amp in a plywood cabinet, but still very manageable.

CONDITION - It's 25 years old, there are some scuffs and scrapes as per the pictures. It's working perfectly though, cleaned the pots so no crackle etc..

DIMENSIONS - 47cm x 50cm x 32cm (W x H x D) not including casters. Weighs 24kg

Collection only, I'm near Hither Green Station (SE13 5NA). Any questions please fire-away.
