This 2020 Epiphone Les Paul Custom in Alpine White nails the iconic “tuxedo” aesthetic that’s made these guitars so desirable for decades. The bright white finish, black binding, and gold hardware come together perfectly—and the hardware on this example is especially impressive, retaining a clean, vibrant shine with very little fading or wear.
It feels every bit like a proper Les Paul Custom should. The neck is smooth and comfortable in the hand, the setup is spot on, and the low action makes it effortless to play across the entire fretboard. Notes ring clearly with no obvious buzzing, giving it that instantly familiar, easy-playing feel from the moment you pick it up.
Sonically, it delivers the rich, unmistakable Les Paul sound—warm lows, thick mids, and plenty of punch when pushed, while still responding well to lighter playing and rolled-back controls. Versatile, reliable, and inspiring to play, it’s a guitar that comfortably covers everything from classic rock to blues and beyond.
The guitar has also benefited from a professional PLEK setup, where the frets and nut are precision-cut to tolerances as fine as 1/10,000th of an inch. The result is an exceptionally comfortable playing experience, with low action, excellent consistency across the fretboard, and clean performance without unwanted buzzing. It’s currently strung with a fresh set of D’Addario 10s and is ready to play straight away.
Overall condition is very good, with only a couple of small lacquer cracks present. These are purely cosmetic and have no impact on the structural integrity, stability, or playability of the guitar.
