Offered for sale is an original 1971 Fender Precision Bass body.
A fantastic vintage Fender project piece with huge potential for restoration or period-correct rebuilding.
The body has excellent vintage character and would make an ideal base for someone looking to build a genuine early ‘70s Precision Bass.
Please note:
- Body only
- Fender Hi-Mass Bridge and F-logo neck plate will be included
- Sold as a restoration / project item
Condition:
Purchased as-is as a project, and initially planned to patch the holes and refinish in Miami blue. Unfortunately do not have the time to complete the work. Needs extensive restoration. I purchased a neck plate and a Fender Hi-Mass bridge that I'll include in the package.
Vintage Fender parts continue to become increasingly difficult to source, making this a great opportunity for a builder, collector or enthusiast looking for an authentic early ‘70s Fender project.
