Up for sale is a 2018 Fender MIJ Japan Hama Okamoto Precision Bass #4 in Olympic White, complete with a gig bag.

This is a very cool Fender Japan signature model that blends classic Precision Bass tone with a slimmer, faster Jazz Bass-style neck. Designed for versatility and comfort, the Hama Okamoto #4 stands out with its vintage-inspired aesthetic and unique artist-driven details, including a red tortoiseshell pickguard, vintage-style “lollipop” tuners, and finger rest. It’s a distinctive Japan-market model that offers something different from a standard P Bass while still delivering familiar Fender feel and tone.

Condition

This bass is in very good condition and I would rate it a solid 8.5/10. It shows light scratches and some small dings from normal use.

The bridge cover is missing, which is fairly common, and replacements are readily available if desired.

There are no cracks, breaks, or structural issues. The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent condition, and the bass plays cleanly up and down the neck with no buzzing or dead spots. It has also been recently professionally set up and is ready to go.

A gig bag is included.
