The v72a mic pre’s need no introduction - This pair was serviced and racked in Sweden before I bought it. The rack job is *beautiful* - the knobs are big and satisfyingly stepped to turn. Feels very good!
The preamps are modded for stepped gain (with a slightly extended range) and have switchable phantom power and XLR I/O. Everything works as it should and they sound fabulous. Only changing due to a change in aesthetic and space limits.
