GLENSOUND Mx6/3/181

An excellent sounding mixer by Glensound that has just been serviced and recapped by Steve Coles from Lazy Lizard Labs / Rockfield Studios In March 2024. The mixing console would make a great side car or small console for anyone wanting a mixing desk with character. This console was created for the BBC and is full of character and quality sound. It also has a new power supply and cable provided.

Included is 5 GPO to XLR for the outputs plus two GPO to GPO cables so one could be turned into xlr, to make use if six channels. 

Each channel has an RSA with high frequency, presence (medium frequency) and low frequency controls. Designed and built by Glensound to BBC specifications. The faders work "backwards" for instance - towards you to get louder. Features include six mic/line inputs into two main outputs and one auxiliary output (called "Misc") EQ is low, mid and high with low-frequency switched cuts, which together with gain and pan controls occupy the "RSA" or Response Selection Amplifier. There are also switchable high and low filters across the main outputs and insert jacks for ancillary channel processing on the rear connector panel. Every part is modular and based around a metal chassis. 

The console has a mixture of XLR, Jack and GPO connections.
