The Boss MD-2 is the perfect distortion for modern metal guitar.
A great distortion sound that can be dialled in perfectly for tight crunchy tones, or full on crazy distortion, thanks to both distortion *and* gain controls. Tone can be shaped with the concentric pot that balances low and gigh frequencies on top, while offering a large amount of bottom end boost for that modern chunk.
Like all Boss pedals, this one is powered by either 9V centre negative PSU, or a 9V battery. It's rugged, sounds tight and chunky and looks awesome on your pedalboard.
