Vintage 1960s Polverini Bros electric bass guitar hard case. Made in Italy.

Polverini cases were used by Vox and for Fender guitars shipped to Europe. I can't say what this case originally housed, or if it was Fender , Vox or neither but it is a cool vintage case from that desirable period of vintage guitars.

It's generally in reasonable condition but has some things to note and some issues a buyer may wish to address -

  • The rear latch is missing, the side latches are present.
  • Two of the feet are missing.
  • The hinges are in good working order, they are held in with screws which we tightened but some may require attention - I'm not sure if these screws replaced rivets or are original.
  • There are scuffs and scrapes and marks in places.
  • No key.
  • Handle in good order.
  • A used, pre owned case.

The Squier Jazz bass pictured is just for demonstration and not included in the sale.
