Beautiful vintage hand made point to point wired valve / tube preamp with eq. In all probablility it's a spec built unit - so only this one exists in the world! Looks like it was built for a reggae / dub sound system as aside from the main output there are two switcheable outputs - one for each channel to feed two separate amps. I had these disconnected when I had the preamp serviced and all the capacitors changed (so it's good to go for another 20 years !) as I just wanted the main output for recording purposes. Super easy to add these if needed. So .... two inputs each with a gain - and these gains both feed into two bass and two treble controls and then into an output gain - thus you can get some Very sweet tones and saturation out of this thing - think Wes Montgomery as opposed to Mike Stern (man with the horn lp for instance) - soft and warm but also clear and bassy. It's built for line input - so guitars / keys or for warming up existing audio from your daw, but !! You can also use it as a mic preamp. I've only used it with dynamic mics and it sounds lovely, not as quiet as a modern solid state preamp - but still very useable. Anyone after this kind of tone won't mind a tiny bit of background noise - that's all part of the vintage gear game. No noise issues at all with guitars or daw processing. Comes with two spare ecc82 valves - one Mazda one Mullard. Runs on 240 volts - and will make some tone junkie Very happy!
