Eastman T64/v in Antique Red Varnish Nitro finish, 2022

A superb example of the Eastman T64/v, finished in Antique Red varnish. This guitar is in excellent condition and has seen only light, careful use by its previous owner, having been part of a large private collection.

There is no fret wear and the guitar benefits from a lovely setup with an easy, responsive playing action. It comes complete with its superb quality original hard case and certificate of authenticity.

The T64/v is a thin-bodied, fully hollow 16" guitar built to Eastman’s high factory specification and finished in their Antique Varnish nitro finish, lightly aged to give the look and feel of a well-played vintage instrument. The laminated maple construction and slim 1 3/4" body depth make it extremely comfortable while maintaining a lively and resonant character.

It is fitted with a pair of Jason Lollar dog ear P-90 pickups, Gotoh relic series hardware and a US Bigsby B7 tailpiece, all contributing to the instrument’s outstanding performance and reliability.

Tonally, the T64/v delivers a wonderfully open and articulate voice. The hollow body provides warmth and natural resonance, while the Lollar P-90s add clarity, bite and dynamic response. The neck pickup produces warm, rounded jazz and blues tones, while the bridge pickup offers plenty of attack and presence for roots, rock and rhythm work. Together they deliver a rich, expressive palette with excellent note definition and sensitivity to touch.
