Up for sale is a pair of Zildjian 14" A Series (Avedis) Mastersound Hi-Hats. These were purchased around 2010 and have been used sparingly in a home studio environment. These are the cymbals that defined the modern "chick" sound, offering a perfect blend of vintage warmth and modern projection.

The Mastersound Edge:

The defining characteristic of these hats is the scalloped (rippled) bottom cymbal. This patented design prevents airlock, allowing air to escape instantly. The result is a fast, crisp, and powerful "chick" sound that remains articulate even during high-speed footwork.

Condition Report:

• General: Very good overall condition.

• Structural: No cracks, no flea bites, and no keyholing.

• Cosmetic Note: As noted in the photos, there is a very small, barely noticeable indentation (ding) on the edge of the top cymbal. It is purely cosmetic and does not affect the structural integrity or the sound of the instrument.

• Logos: The Zildjian and Mastersound ink logos are strong and fully legible.
