Selling my Ensoniq Mirage DKS-1 with non original standard kettle lead and formatting floppy disk and wave samples floppy disk.
I’ve shown any cosmetic issues, dinks and scratches in the photos above but it’s in good condition for its age. I bought this with the intention of using it for the classic Detroit strings and pads but never really got going with it.
Rare piece of sampler history and very iconic.
“The Ensoniq Mirage DSK-1 (1985) is a 61-key, 8-voice polyphonic, 8-bit digital sampler renowned for its gritty, lo-fi sound and analog Curtis filters (CEM3328). Featuring 128KB of sampling RAM (expandable via OS to 32 oscillators) and a 3.5" floppy drive, it was the first truly affordable sampler ($1,295-$1,695). It uses a complex two-digit LED interface for editing,, requiring specific OS disks to function. “
Message me with any questions.
Cheers,
Eddy
