This beautiful 2017 Candy Apple Red American Pro Telecaster has been refurbished to a high standard and fitted with a Fender Genuine Parts roasted maple American Pro II neck by a professional guitar tech.

The Candy Apple Red body is immaculate and has been stripped, deep cleaned and waxed.  The body has the correct Fender USA factory stickers and all other parts have been verified as original (see the video for details), and the electronics have been tested and cleaned before reassembly.

The roasted maple neck is Fender Genuine Parts upgrade with the correct embossed stamp and factory stickers with 9.5” radius, deep C profile and 22 narrow frets.  As you would expect of a top of the range Fender neck, the fretwork is excellent, with level frets, nicely dressed ends and no wear. The frets have been polished and the bone nut blank has been properly shaped and cut.    Please note; because this is a Fender Genuine Parts upgrade neck, it does not show up in the Fender serial number checker - this is perfectly normal!

Tuners are Fender staggered modern units and the high quality American Pro bridge is Fender embossed and features 3 compensated brass saddles and a half ashtray.  The bridge was stripped to component level and cleaned before reassembly.

The pickups are the original V-Mod 1s which give a very nice clean Tele tone and take gain well.

The guitar weighs 3.42 kg / 7lb 8.7oz

The guitar has been strung with Ernie Ball 10's and received a full set up (nut, relief, action, pickups, intonation).   It plays beautifully as a result with a low action (though setup can be adjusted to your taste before despatch). 

It comes in the Fender hard case shown –  alas no key is present.

All the work is fully documented in the YouTube video linked below, so you can see the quality and attention to detail that has gone into preparing this guitar.  The end result is a stunningly attractive and immaculately set up guitar which plays beautifully and sounds fantastic.

 My pricing includes postage to the UK & NI (but I cannot ship internationally, sorry). It will be fully insured and sent using Parcelforce, safely packed in the hard case then inside a proper guitar box.

So – I never claim my guitars are the cheapest of their model available, and let’s face it, there are often plenty of options. But used guitars – especially bought online unseen - are a bit of a lottery and are rarely properly set up and sadly very often in poor condition.  That’s high risk on an instrument of this level.

If you want one where you can watch the video and see exactly what has been done, which has been professionally refurbished and fully set up so it plays and feels like the guitar you hoped it would be out of the box, this is excellent value.
