For sale is an early Babbitt Otto Link Tone Edge soprano mouthpiece, tip opening 7*, featuring the characteristic early “denim” mould pattern.
This is a highly sought-after vintage Link, known for its warm, flexible tone and excellent projection without harshness. The 7* tip opening is particularly desirable, offering a great balance of power and control for modern players while retaining the classic Link sound.
The mouthpiece is in good playing condition, with no cracks or repairs. Rails and tip are in solid shape and it plays freely throughout the range.
This mouthpiece paired exceptionally well with an early Selmer Modele 26 soprano saxophone (listed separately), producing a centred, expressive sound with plenty of character.
