Mid‑90s Fender American Standard Telecaster in sunburst, serial N533757, set up as a reliable player‑grade workhorse with some sensible upgrades and honest cosmetic wear. This is not a case‑queen, but if you want a solid USA Tele that you don’t have to baby, it does the job very nicely.​

The guitar has been rewired with a push‑pull tone pot that gives an out‑of‑phase option for extra tonal variety on top of the classic Tele sounds. The cavities have been copper‑shielded to reduce noise, and the stock bridge pickup has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan STL‑2 Hot Tele Lead for a fatter, hotter bridge tone while still staying very much in Tele territory.​

Cosmetically, as you can see, it’s clearly been played: there is a pretty big chip on the front of the body, plus general wear you’d expect on a nearly 30‑year‑old instrument, so please check the photos carefully. There is also a visible crack in the veneer at the back of the neck; this is in the finish/veneer only, and there is categorically no structural/mechanical damage to the neck itself.​ I've owned this guitar from new and it was a perennial go-to workhorse, gigged regularly throughout the 90s and 00s. The cosmetic wear reflects this.

The original white pickguard has been swapped for an off‑white one, which suits the aged look of the sunburst nicely, but the guitar is otherwise a straightforward American Standard Tele in terms of hardware and feel. Frets, truss rod and electronics are all functioning as they should, and it plays well as a giggable “grab‑and‑go” Tele.​
