The Classic, Articulate Dry Ride in Excellent Condition with Unique Custom Features

This is an outstanding example of the highly sought-after Sabian HH series, specifically the 21" Raw Bell Dry Ride. Purchased in 2002, this cymbal delivers the crisp, articulate clarity that made this model famous, and it remains in excellent condition structurally and sonically for its age.

Key Features & Sound Profile

• Finish: Natural Finish (Not Brilliant).
• Unique Feature (Rivet Holes): This cymbal was purchased brand new in 2002 with pre-drilled rivet holes already installed (rivets not included). This is a rare feature, indicative of a special order or custom dealer modification, greatly enhancing its versatility and adding a sought-after 'sizzle' option.
• Definition: Excellent, clear, and woody stick definition over a controlled, musical spread. This cymbal is renowned for maintaining incredible articulation even at higher volumes.
• The Bell: Features the signature Raw Bell design—unlathed and powerful—providing a clear, penetrating, and dry "ping" that cuts through effortlessly without unwanted overtones.
• Musical Application: Perfect for Rock, Funk, R&B, Fusion, or any application demanding high levels of clarity and control on the ride pattern.

Condition Report (Excellent)

This cymbal is in exceptional condition structurally and sonically, especially considering it is a 2002 vintage.

• Patina: Features a light, beautiful, naturally formed, and even patina across the surface.
• Edges: The edges are solid, but as a played cymbal, they do have some typical light scratches and minor cosmetic nicks/flea bites along the surface and edges. These marks are superficial and do not affect the integrity or sound quality whatsoever.
• Center Hole: The center hole is perfectly round and in mint condition, showing absolutely no signs of keyholing.
• Logos: The main Sabian logos are very clear, but the "Hand Hammered" logo is quite faded, which is typical for a cymbal of this age (please see photos for detail).

Note: I originally purchased this amazing cymbal in 2002, inspired by drummers like Jose Pasillas (Incubus). It no longer suits my current musical direction, so it's time to find it a new home with a player who will appreciate its exceptional quality.
