1980 Gibson EDS-1275 Double Neck – All Original, Excellent Condition + OHSC

For sale is my 1980 Gibson EDS-1275, an absolutely iconic double-neck in classic Walnut with all original hardware, pickups, electronics, and finish. If you’re looking for a vintage EDS-1275 that hasn’t been modified or abused, this is the one.

Condition

Overall, this guitar is all original and in good condition for a 45-year-old instrument.

• The finish is clean, glossy, and well-preserved, with a beautiful patina that only comes with age. small dings here and there.
• All metal parts are original and in excellent shape—no corrosion, no pitting, everything intact.
• Both necks are straight (with nice flame to them), frets are healthy, and the guitar plays exactly as it should.

The only notable cosmetic issue is on the bottom side edge (see photo). It has a cluster of marks in the lacquer—purely cosmetic, no structural impact—and they’re only visible up close. Aside from that, it’s remarkably clean given its age.

Original Case Included

Includes the original Gibson hard shell case, also in very good condition and a perfect fit for collectors.
