The Fender Super 60 is a 60-watt tube combo amplifier from the late 1980s to early 1990s, featuring two channels—clean and overdrive—and a single 12” speaker. This one has a Marshall G12 Vintage speaker upgrade. It offers a versatile tonal palette with separate volume controls for each channel, a shared three-band EQ, presence (the most important), and solid-state reverb. The amp is known for delivering good clean tones with clarity and warmth, while the overdrive channel provides moderate gain that can be dialed in for classic tube breakup.
The Presence knob is key, not enough amps have it, put it on full then bring the Treble up a little for scintillating highs. Loud as heel if you need it, small, compact and reasuringly heavy ie quality, 25kgs, quality transformer and chunky case, but get yourself a roadie for regular gigs.
A little tolex tear on the corner glued back, some light marks all over, but not road worn.
