Second hand Fossati A thumb plate system oboe with manufacturer year 1997.
Crafted from Mozambique ebony with silver-plated nickel-silver keywork, the instrument includes Fossati’s signature ergonomic design with an extended F♯ key, double tenon rings (“double serti”), and low B♭ adjustment. Pads are primarily cork, with leather pads on the low notes for durability and response.
Warm, round tone with excellent intonation and smooth key action, oboe is in playing condition. Oboe has not been serviced but has been checked over by woodwind specialist who confirmed instrument is in great condition.
