Tanglewood TWJ-P-E Java Solid Cedar/Amara/Spalted Mango Parlor with Electronics.
This lovely guitar purchased brand new 3 years ago and has been played intermittently, but not my primary guitar as I have 8 and need to cut down! May have one or two ever so light surface scratches to the gloss finish but she plays like a dream and pickup is fully functional. This makes for a great lightweight travelling guitar with a gorgeous tone and I'll ship her with Elixir Custom Lights (11s) and a bonus free soft case.

The Java TJ8E guitar is a remarkable and visually captivating instrument, designed for musicians who appreciate both the traditional charm of a parlour body shape and the modern versatility of advanced electronics. This guitar boasts a unique combination of tonewoods and electronic features, making it a standout choice for players seeking a distinctive, well-rounded sound.

With its classic parlour body shape, the Java TJ8E offers a compact and comfortable playing experience, reminiscent of vintage acoustic guitars. This design not only enhances the instrument’s playability but also contributes to its warm, intimate, and balanced acoustic tone.

The guitar features a Solid Spruce top, renowned for its responsiveness and clarity. The Solid Spruce top ensures that the guitar produces a resonant, articulate, and dynamic acoustic sound, making it well-suited for fingerstyle playing, intricate picking, and solo performances.

What sets this guitar apart is its stunning three-piece back, crafted from Amara and Spalt Mango. This combination of tonewoods not only adds a visual flair with captivating grain patterns but also contributes to the guitar’s distinctive tonal character. Amara provides a warm and balanced tonal foundation, while Spalt Mango introduces complexity and depth to the sound, resulting in a tone that’s both articulate and enchanting.

The Amara sides further enhance the guitar’s tonal response, ensuring a consistent and harmonious sonic profile. The combination of these tonewoods in the Java TJ8E guitar results in a balanced and expressive acoustic voice, making it an excellent choice for a wide range of musical styles.

To further enhance its versatility, this guitar is equipped with the Fishman Presys EQ system. This advanced electronic system empowers you to shape and refine your amplified sound with precision. It includes features like onboard EQ, phase control, and a built-in tuner, ensuring that your amplified tone is as clear and accurate as your acoustic sound.
