The Fredric Regent 150 Preamp Pedal is a recreation of an obscure East German preamp. A great always on pedal or as a handy boost or even an EQ!
The Regent 150 Preamp uses the preamplifier and EQ circuit from the 70s Vermona Regent 150K amplifier. It features controls for treble, bass and volume - the treble adds a clean,, articulate edge, whilst the bass is warm without being flabby sounding. When engaged the pedal also imparts a little welcome compression too! Use it as an EQ, boost, or just leave it on all the time because it sounds so good!
Fredric Effects is owned by the two guitarists of London alt rock band The Sailplanes, and focus on naught but recreating vintage boutique effects at a highly affordable price, while ensuring the most supreme of build qualities that last the test of time!
